Clinical Negligence Panel

A number of different specialist accreditation panels are operated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority including the clinical negligence panel. A solicitor cannot hold themselves out as an expert giving medical negligence advice unless they belong to the clinical negligence panel, membership of which requires that a solicitor must meet specific knowledge and skill requirements which ensure that the overall standard of quality for panel membership is maintained.

To qualify for membership of the Solicitors Regulation Authority panel of clinical negligence experts, a solicitor must demonstrate competence in each of the following areas of law :-
